In the past two centuries, the Wolgos have endured catastrophic exiles known as the first and second Wolgos treks. Due to their sheer scale, the treks left behind Wolgos and spread them into foreign lands that they did not control, and they had to create a new life for themselves. At present, between two and three million Wolgos live outside either Hergom ep Swekorwos or the United New Kingdoms (UNK). Despite Hergom and the UNK having an automatic citizenship policy for all Wolgos who move into the nations, numerous Wolgos have opted to remain in human countries and make a living.

Stoldavia, Nestor and Anaria

Vittmark has a very small community dating back a few years prior to the start of the Wolgos Scourge, which was a result of the snow-bunting scattering incident. When twenty airships carrying wealthy Wolgos and their associates escaped the Bind due to the rule of Gwhermusonos, after landing on Fisks with their riches, they relocated to Vittmark, where they purchased a handful of country homes where they built a small community. At present, they number around a thousand and have largely integrated into Vittish society, with most speaking Wortsproke and an archaic version of the Wolgos language.

There are a few scattered ten thousand or so across Anaria, a scattered community dating to the years after the fall of Dhonowlgos. Some escaped directly during the First Wolgos Trek, while others were exiled from the Häverist regime after the regime failed to re-educate thousands of Wolgos children. This community has, for the past two centuries, struggled to adapt to human society due to innate differences, being left maladapted by the Häverist and Anarian prejudices. It is a community known for high criminality and violence and has often found themselves destitute or being pushed from place to place.

There are around 50,000 Wolgos living in Nestor, forming a small but vibrant community that dates back to the Pan-Anarian War when Dhonowlgos invaded the north of Nestor on behalf of Helreich and the subsequent First Wolgos Trek. Many are descended from old Wolgos conscripts and refugees who fled during the First Wolgos Trek. In Nestor, they live in travelling communities, usually involved in construction, debt collecting and money lending, selling alcohol and other substances, muscle for hire, and also in petty crime, extortion, kidnapping and other criminal endeavours.

Shangti Ocean

The vast majority of the Wolgos diaspora are in the Raian archipelago, where they settled after the Second Wolgos Trek, with the vast majority living in places like the Gate of Light and other islands. Here, they have largely integrated into local communities and have found a variety of niches to earn a living.

Wolgos tend to work in a variety of jobs, often found as travelling building contractors, in boxing and wrestling entertainment, as security, money lending, and debt collection. Others work in the underworld and have close ties to local criminal networks.

In the Lotus Island, the Wolgos community descends from the era of the Blood Lotus society; they are typically well of families working in shipping, warehousing, finance and merchant concerns. Numbering at almost ninety thousand, they are not all wealthy, and many work in services like Wolgos restaurants, medical offices and other essential Wolgos services.
