All banknotes are red, the red does not come from ink printed on the banknote but from the paper itself which is vivid crimson . The paper dye glows bright yellow under UV light and cobalt blue where the paper has interacted with a special black ink used by the mint. An ink that is transparent under normal light will glow violet under infrared light, this ink is used to print complex geometric patterns and serial number (Serial number not visible under regular light) on both sides of the banknotes. These specialist inks were chosen to allow the aesthetic use of a two tone design without compromising security. Raised ink, holographic layers and precision printing are used to enhance security.
All banknotes are made from paper inherently coloured vivid crimson due to a durable, sunlight- and solvent-resistant pigment. This pigment reveals a bright yellow glow under UV light, adding an extra layer of security verification. Additionally, where this pigment interacts with a specially developed black ink from the mint, it emits a cobalt blue glow under UV light. Another security feature is the use of transparent ink that, while invisible in regular lighting, is used to print intricate geometric patterns and serial numbers on both sides of the banknotes; these only become visible under infrared light, further safeguarding privacy and security.

The banknotes also incorporate several advanced security technologies:

* Raised Ink: Adds a tactile element that helps differentiate genuine notes from counterfeits.
* Watermarks: Designed to be visible when held up to light, these are complex and difficult for counterfeiters to replicate.
* Holographic Layers: These dynamic features change appearance with the angle of view, providing a visual authenticity check that is hard to forge.
* Precision Printing: Ensures crisp, clear detailing in the banknote's design, which is complicated to reproduce without sophisticated equipment.

Furthermore, the durability and resistance of the banknotes to various solvents not only enhance their lifespan but also serve as a critical security tool. The banknotes crimson paper is engineered to withstand tests with harsh solvents like alcohol, acetone, chlorinated agents, and hydrogen peroxide, which are part of routine authenticity checks. This solvent resistance is employed as a method to detect and neutralize counterfeit notes, counterfeit notes will generally bleach or its pigments will run. Genuine notes retain their integrity and appearance even after such testing, while counterfeit versions may deteriorate, thus confirming their illegitimacy.

The uhum is also characterised by its larger notes in comparison to most currencies, the reason is mostly due to the Wolgos greater anatomical dimensions.

The uhum is the official currency of Hergom.

Federated Tribal Mint - Peh2tredhegwh

The Peh2tredhegwh, known as the Federated Tribal Mint, is the sole authorized entity for minting coins and printing banknotes in Hergom. Its establishment was a strategic move to consolidate the numerous tribal mints that once operated independently within the nation. This centralization was a key step towards enhancing the uniformity and integrity of the national currency.

By unifying these tribal mints, the Peh2tredhegwh has been able to standardize currency production, control the money supply, and implement sophisticated anti-counterfeiting measures. Each banknote and coin produced by the mint reflects Hergom's commitment to quality and security.

The larger-than-average banknotes, crafted from high-quality crimson paper and featuring intricate holographic elements, serve as both a means of transaction and a representation of Hergom's rich cultural tapestry. While their size and design make them distinctive, these attributes also incorporate modern security features that uphold the mint's high standards.

As the exclusive manufacturer of the nation's currency, the Peh2tredhegwh plays a pivotal role in Hergom's economy. It is not just a monetary authority but also a guardian of the nation's fiscal policy and an emblem of its sovereign capabilities.

All banknotes are made from paper inherently coloured vivid crimson due to a durable, sunlight- and solvent-resistant pigment. This pigment reveals a bright yellow glow under UV light, adding an extra layer of security verification. • Holographic Layers: These dynamic features change appearance with the angle of view, providing a visual authenticity check that is hard to forge.
  • Precision Printing: Ensures crisp, clear detailing in the banknote's design, which is complicated to reproduce without sophisticated equipment.
