The University of Östervallen (Lärosäte i Östervallen) is one of the oldest institutions for science and higher education in Stoldavia. Established during the Greater Stoldavic Empire, the university has long been a major seat of learning, particularly known for its emphasis on the Mellanhand Orkanan philosophy of science, which integrates traditional Stoldavian beliefs with scientific inquiry.
