Cherenovsk is home to several points of interest which have made it well-known, not just across the republic or D'Runia, but worldwide.

Citadel

The Citadel (Arvorian: Цитадель, Hallisised: Tsitadel') is the fortified complex which stands at the precise centre of the city. Originally a safe haven for the first Arvorians to settle on D'Runia, it gradually grew into the early town which later spread out around it into the modern city of today. As the population shifted outward, the original fort expanded and grew into a proper fortress, which became the site of important gatherings and other events. In the latter years of the Commonwealth, it became the seat of the government, which remained unchanged after the transition to the republic.

Within the walls of the Citadel are several structures, each serving a different purpose.

GUM

The Main Universal Store (Arvorian: Главный универсальный магазин, Hallisised: Glavnyy universal'nyy magazin, also known as Гум or GUM) is the largest shopping centre in the city and the oldest such facility in the nation. Established in 7553 RH, during the Commonwealth days, it started out as a trading exchange for merchants to sell their wares in a common location accessible to everyone around. As time went on, shoppes became permanently established and the complex grew into what it is now. As of 1.1.7690 RH, GUM encompasses 91 separate shoppes and 12 restaurants. It is a popular shopping destination for locals as well as tourists.

VDNKh

The Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (Arvorian: Выставка достижений народного хозяйства, Hallisised: Vystavka dostizheniy narodnogo hozyaystva, abbreviated as VDNKh or VDNH) is a permanent general purpose trade show and amusement park.
