Origins

It is generally agreed that Aldasay people originate as the native people of Ju8c3b8rveh who come from northern Davai around -50,000 RH and subsequently migrated to northern Stoldavia in -30,000 RH. Since the rise of agriculture in Stoldavia, Aldsay people in Stoldavia either adopted agriculture and assimilated by the more powerful Dolmer people or have been driven back to Jorveh by them.

History

Anthropologist and archaeologist agree that modern AldAsay, as well as many of the peoples of Anaria, share a common proto-Anarian ancestry that diverged in Davai about 60 thousand years ago. The Anario-Jorveh migrated from Davai to southern Jorveh and on to northern Anaria. There, the Anario-Jorveh encountered a primitive race they called the Aurir. It is likely the Aurir were Wolgos. Meanwhile, Anario-Tharnians traveled through Tharna, crossing Anaria Minor into eastern Anaria about 30 thousand years ago. The Anario-Juorveh met their distant Anario-Tharnian cousins in Thultania and north Anaria Major. Within ten thousand years, a distinct agropastoral Anario-Jorveh culture controlled a region that stretched from Jorveh to as far south as Adhem. Approximately fifteen thousand years ago, the agricultural Anario-Biazriite culture pushed north from Adhem to dominate northeastern Versia and eventually invaded the Helreich, Calcit, and Golden Peninsulas. Within five thousand years, this agrarian culture spread through much of Anaria, giving rise to the Dolmer of eastern Stoldavia, the Brucht of Nester, the Cheltai of Livaria, the Cheltic Isles, and eastern Anaria Major, the Emther of Thultain, and the Karsk of western Anaria Major. The Dolmer culture still dominates modern Stoldavia, and the limit of their ancient domain defines Aedeland's eastern border to this day.

Most Aldasay are followers of the Orkanan faith.

Ethnic Relations

Culturally, Stoldavian Aldsay people are most similar to other Stoldavian ethnic groups such as Dolmer people. However, it is believed that Aldsay people, in general, are connected to other polar people such as Luora. The Emther are theorized to be derived from admixtures of Duolmer and Aldsay populations. Despite their different biology, Wolgos people are suggested to have originated from the same stock as the Aldsay.

Subgroups

Jorvik Aldsay

The native peoples of Jorveh. Characterized by a long skull, very tall lean stature, pinkish-white complexion, very light hair, blue eyes, and a narrow aquiline nose.

Stoldavian Aldsay

This group is biologically close to Jorvik Aldsay. They are culturally more similar to Stoldavian people like Dolmer. The Stoldavian Aldsay of eastern Aedeland and western Vittmark, especially in Hagen, are heavily mixed with the Dolmer peoples. A significant portion, known as the Bubale, are found in the Bule Republics, including Nambatu and Auresian colonies. The Stoldavic phenotype includes a long skull, tall stature, fair skin with blond or brown hair, and light eyes. Phenotypical overlaps exist between the Western Stoldavic and the Jurvik types. However, the Eastern Stoldavic type, especially in Uvendiland, shows strong Dolmer influence, evident in their larger heads, broad jaws, bigger bones, and more pronounced masculine features.

Davaic Aldsay

Primarily found in Tanais, they are the outcome of Stoldavic Aldsay colonization of eastern Davai in the 57th century. The most representative type is in Tanais, but there is significant variation in mainland Hayrand due to Arkal influence. The Davaic phenotype is Aldsegian influenced Arkal type, marked by tall stature (though shorter than other Aldsay groups), relatively fair skin, hair ranging from light brown to near black, light eyes, and large noses.

Anaric Aldsay

Mainly found in Achilleio, with minorities spread across northern Aversa. Their phenotype is marked by medium stature, medium complexion, dark blond to light brown hair, light eyes, high skull, a narrow forehead, and slightly narrow eye apertures.

Adalu

This group is an amalgamation of Stoldavic Aldsay with various native and non-native peoples of eastern Tzeraka. Their phenotype is noted by a medium complexion, dark blond to light brown curly hair, large light eyes, smoothed facial features, full lips, and a less flared nose.
