Die Eintracht is an orderist military and economic alliance, originally founded as a union of Häverist nations. Established in 7584 by Helreich, the alliance has since evolved into a major geopolitical bloc shaped by wars, ideological shifts, and the energy crisis that redefined global power structures.

History

Helreich created Die Eintracht in 7584 as a free association of states aligned with Häverism, an economic philosophy emphasizing energy accounting and social equity. Aedeland, initially hesitant to join, entered the alliance the same year following internal civil conflict, external pressure from Vittmark, and economic isolation tied to its transition to an energy-based economy. Helreich’s colonies—Rissland, Grunland, Transelfasland, Mirapan, and New Hoffnung—were later granted full membership as the Hellish Empire decentralized into the Stoldavic Commonhold in the 7590s.

Pan-Stoldavic War and the Wolgos Scourge (7591–7596)

Aedeland’s entry into Die Eintracht escalated a longstanding Austland border dispute into a Pan-Stoldavic War. The conflict risked becoming a second Pan-Anarian War until the sudden emergence of the Wolgos Scourge redirected the focus of the continent. Helreich bore the brunt of the Scourge, particularly in its Altaian colonies, while Aedeland contributed minimally in the remote Cykeria Campaign.

Post-War Realignment

The Treaty of New Xedun ended the Scourge. Helreich emerged devastated, its imperial ambitions shattered, while Aedeland, largely unscathed, capitalized on the reconstruction boom and the energy crisis. In the aftermath, Aedeland's more efficient and technocratic interpretation of Häverism—known as orderism—gained influence within Die Eintracht. Orderism, emphasizing efficiency and rule by meritocratically selected technocrats, came to dominate the alliance’s direction in the early 7600s. Though Helreich remains the central figure, Aedeland now wields significant political power through its technocratic elite, shaping policy and reform within the alliance. Internal ideological tensions between classical Häverists and orderists persist but have not fractured the bloc.

Die Eintracht today is both a symbol of Häverist solidarity and a contested space of technocratic influence. Its evolution from Helreich’s imperial initiative to a structured orderist bloc illustrates the shifting balance of power in the post-Scourge world.

Common Energy Market

A common energy market was a diplomatic incentive proposed by Helreich to overcome Aedelish reluctance to embrace Häverism. The initial treaty, signed in Ålesund in 7581, admitted Aedeland into the common energy market of the Stolvic Commonwealth and provided a framework for the later military and economic pact that would become Die Eintracht. The Stolvic common energy market is an internal single market that takes advantage of the unique characteristics of the common Energy Distribution Certificate making the Aedelish Standard and the Hellish Commonwealth Energy Certificate interchangeable. The common market is managed through cooperation of the national Distribution Apparatus.

Military Alliance

A collective security system in which independent member states defend each other against attacks by third parties was a necessary response to the counter revolution fermented by foreign powers in Western Stoldavia following the 7581 Häverist revolution in Aedeland. A formal military and economic treaty was made at Hoffnung following the loss of a large part of the former Aedelish Austland province in 7585 and resulted in Hellish intervention and the escalation of the Pan-Stoldavic War from 7585 to 7591. The sudden Wolgos invasion of Hellish Mirapan in 7598 began an existential crisis that tested Die Eintracht to its limits with its member states facing the Wolgos alone until 7602.

The military alliance is subject to a civilian executive council composed of representatives of the member states under the authority of the Vorsitzender der Eintracht. The chief military commander of the alliance is Der Stratarch who is the commander of a military council, called Die Ständige Grupp, composed of general and high ranking officers of the constituent militaries.
