The political movements of Aedeland are social movements in the area of politics focused on a single issue or a more limited set of issues than political parties. Since there are no popular elections in Aedeland, there are no popular political parties. As a result, political movements in Aedeland are not organized to elect members of the movement to government office; instead, a political movement aims to convince citizens or representatives to take action on the issues and concerns which are the focus of the movement.

Aedelmöte

Aedelmöte is an ultraconservative religious movement with the following objectives: preserve Aedelish ethnic identity, heritage, and unity. Assert the need for lebensraum to secure the u8c3a6ttsrett tradition for future generations. Preserve rural Aedeland. Limit the growth and influence of cities and modernism. Restrict the spread of materialist ideologies, particularly stockism and häverism, and the divisions of class. Limit the size and scope of the råki government. Maintain the patriarchal order and Aldsay imperialism.

Andres

Andres, called the "Others Andres" by mainstream Aedelish, is an anti-imperialism movement representing the interests of non-Aldsay minority groups within the Aldsegian Empire. It is a single-issue movement with a diverse ideological membership that spans the entire political spectrum.

Platform:

  • Advocate full equality among the member states of the Aldsegian Empire.
  • Recognize the rights of ethnic minorities within the Aldsegian Empire.
  • Seek the replacement of the patriarchal order with a more democratic system.
  • Promote free trade and economic autonomy.

Arbeidskraft

Arbeidskraft is a left-of-center worker's movement representing the interests of industrialized labor unions and the urban underclasses. Although the arbeidskraft has many ideological parallels to häverism, most of its followers reject both häverism and videresend, which they consider to be elitist and opposed to their interests. Arbeidskraft is a relatively small movement with very little political representation due to Aedeland's limited urban population.

Platform:

  • Improve working conditions, wages, and benefits for industrial workers.
  • Preserve the status of the Aedelish worker and the products of their labor.
  • Prevent foreign immigration to maintain the value of the labor force.
  • Advocate social welfare programs and national free education for the common good.
  • Seek the replacement of the patriarchal order with direct democracy.

Forn-leidh

Forn-leidh claims to be a syncretic political movement, although many observers consider it to be moderately conservative. It is a back-to-the-land, anti-urban populist movement with a romantic focus on folklore and Aedelish ethnic identity. The party takes its philosophy and name from the forn-leidh ideology movement. In many ways, it is a reaction to the cultural alienation of the industrial revolution and häverism. Forn-leidh is the largest and most powerful political movement in Aedeland.

Platform:

  • Preserve Aedelish ethnic identity, heritage, and unity.
  • Assert the need for lebensraum to secure the Ättsrett tradition for future generations.
  • Preserve rural Aedeland.
  • Limit the growth and influence of cities and modernism.
  • Restrict the spread of materialist ideologies, particularly stockism and hu8c3a4verism, and the divisions of class.
  • Limit the size and scope of the råki government.
  • Maintain the patriarchal order and Aldsay imperialism.

Häverism

The Häverist movement in Aedeland is based on an ideology created by Peter Häver. Häverism is a fringe party in Aedeland and has been subject to limited persecution.

Platform:

  • Rapid industrialization and free trade to achieve Aedeland's economic potential.
  • Use of the energy accounting method.
  • Communal ownership of all property.
  • Open immigration and guest worker programs for labor needs.
  • Advocate social welfare programs and national free education.
  • Creation of a professional bureaucracy for efficient governance.
  • Replacement of the patriarchal order with a meritocratic technocracy.
  • Removal of religion from public life to facilitate progress.

Liberale

The Liberale movement advocates securing the freedom of the individual by limiting the power of the government. It stands for civil liberties and limited government under the rule of law. The Liberale movement is the second-largest in Aedeland.

Platform:

  • Acknowledge the inevitability of poverty; criticize social welfare programs as wasteful.
  • Advocate for free markets and economic freedom for the common good.
  • Define the purpose of the state as protecting citizens and maintaining public works.
  • Seek to maintain the patriarchal order to avoid direct democracy.

Nasjonalist

The Nasjonalist is a fringe movement encompassing several unrelated nationalist movements that seek the end of Anarian imperialism and the independence of dependent nations within the Aldsegian Empire.

Platform:

  • Advocate for political and economic independence for dependent nations within the Aldsegian Empire.

Videresend

Videresend is a moderate progressive party that believes in utilizing advances in science, technology, economic development, and social organization to improve the human condition. Though often equated to Häverism by opponents, Videresend is unrelated and predates the Häverist revolution. Videresend emerged in response to the social changes brought by industrialization and represents the interests of industrial leaders and technophiles.

Platform:

  • Promote rapid industrialization and free trade for economic growth.
  • Support open immigration and guest worker programs for labor needs.
  • Advocate social welfare programs and national free education for the common good.
  • Call for a professional bureaucracy to enhance efficient governance.
  • Seek a meritocratic technocracy and removal of religion from public life.
