List of titles used in Vittmark
The list of titles used in Vittmark provides an overview of the different titles in current and historical use and their equivalents in various contexts. The list gives the title in Wortsproke first, starting with the highest-ranking social groups. The proper addressing style is provided as well, following the naming conventions in Vittmark.
Most of the royal, noble, and religious titles are part of the last name, while functional, professional, and acquired titles are placed before the name. For example:
- Asgard Palne Arfastson av Kulla, Konung av Vittmark ("av Kulla" indicates the stim, "Konung" is the title for King or Queen)
- Överste Gummun Hampesson av Hagen ("Överste" is a military title)
Royal Titles
Royal titles apply only to the current royal family. Most titles apply to both men and women, except for "Drottning" which is reserved for women. Royal titles are also religious titles since the king or queen is the de jure highest-ranking religious official within Mellanhand Orkanan in the country.

Noble and Religious Titles
Most noble titles are also religious titles. As an Orkanan nation, Vittmark's religious and noble system is primarily built from the bottom up, with lower-ranking dignitaries appointing or pledging allegiance to higher-ranking dignitaries. Noble titles are usually connected to a territory and are hereditary by stim, meaning succession typically stays within the same stim. The former royal titles of the member states are now converted to noble titles.
However, some noble titles have been handed out top-down, marked with "#" in the table and are not religious titles. Most of these lower nobility titles have been phased out, even when they are in use today, they only have a ceremonial function. An example as that of Hundred Steward, since that title has become an appointed position within government institutions and lost its meaning as a noble title.

Judicial Titles
In some regions, legislation is still upheld by the religious order. The Orkanan function of "Sköffe" at the Stift level equals that of a judge of a Härad. However, in the case of an appeal, any ruling by a "Sköffe" can only be handled through the religious hierarchy.

Military Titles

The military rank of "Herr" (Lord Commander) is carried before the name, distinguishing it from the noble title of "Herr," which is part of the last name.
