Hederskulla is an Orkanan mansion located in Kulla Crown Domain, Vittmark. The settlement around the compound is indicated with the same name. The mansion is in use as an one of the three main Orkanan registries, beside Herrkulla and Grönkulla.

Etymology

The word Hederskulla literally translates as "Hill of Honor". The name indicates that of the 17 Kulla mansions, this is the one that is most highly regarded.

Mansion

The history of the mansion goes back to XX, but at that time the Orkanan recluse was mentioned as XX on the maps. In 7037 the mansion became part of the Greater Stoldavic Empire but it survived this transition of power without any damage. This however wasn't the case in the early 7400's when Mörenburg tried to occupy Kulla. They were unsuccessful in doing so, but they had this mansion under control for nearly a decade. The Mörenburgers prioritized its military function, giving the Orkanan clergy living here a hard time to continue with their work of studying biographies in order to determine possible Exemplars.

During several episodes in history, the Kulla region was governed from this mansion. Even when the Lord, First or King of Kulla was residing in one of the other mansions, executive government was based here. However, even Knutskulla and Herrkulla have had this function, until 7569 when Kronsta was designated as capital of the region and later member state. This vecause the Anarian peacekeepers already were using this town as basis for their operations.

Today, the mansion and its shrine dedicated to XX are open to the public on most days, but visitors and pilgrims have to be aware for the ongoing activities surrounding the mansion's role in registering Exemplars. While not as busy compared to the registries in Grönkulla and Herrkulla, more official rituals take place here on a regular basis.
