Biography

Actuæon was born at the Palace Mon Hypatos to Archduke Hæmon Daedalos and his first wife, Thaleia. When he was 16, his parents died in an automobile accident, and he was placed under the wardship of his grandfather, the Aedelish sea lord and business magnate Hinrik av Ballingr.

He was educated by private tutors in Aversa and Valance, becoming fluent in Aedelish, Auresian, Cheltic, Pastanan, and Vaixellan. Actuæon attended the Ecclesiastical School at Aversa before going to Aulúàb. After graduating, he inherited the largest fortune in Achilleio and became Aulúàb's youngest polo coach.

His first marriage, two years after graduating from Aulúàb, was to 17-year-old socialite Zephyra. The bride's youth caused some scandal in high society, but the 16-day wedding party was attended by over 400 guests. Tragically, Zephyra died less than a year later at a nightclub in Ærilar.

Despite the death of his beloved wife, Actuæon's lifestyle became even more lavish in the years that followed. His turbulent relationship with Aedelish heiress Eydís av Dúrlǫng, daughter of Ayden av Dúrlǫng, the former governor of the powerful Sørtarnland Company, has been the subject of much speculation.

As a businessman, he is known for his winemaking venture and promoting his Achilleionian grand resorts, including Cava Akti and the Domes of Laganás. At the age of 28, he was elected the Elective Prince of Avers as the figurehead of the Achilleionian government. His election had less to do with his aptitude than with the advanced age of his fellow archdukes.
