**Huilcasonco** — formally the **Necrocracy of Huilcasonco** (//Pachap Huilcasonqop Ayasupana//), or PHA — is a nation-state located in eastern [[:d_runia|D’Runia]]. Huilcasonco occupies the western portion of the XX Strait, an essential shipping lane that provides the country with much-needed external commerce, and contains territory that was once part the empires of of [[:auresia|Auresia]] and [[:livarya|Livarya]]. A middling power with reasonable connections, Huilcasonco is notable as being the only country on [[:gotha|Gotha]] where death (or more precisely interpretation of the words of the dead) is a requirement for political position.
