Tova
Tova (also known as Tsova outside of Anisora) is a geographical area and historic region in Western Anisora. The region has historically been made up of numerous Anisoran speaking independent and semi-independent states, although the name Tova originates from the Kingdom of Tova, which covered most of the region known as Tova today during the 60th to 62nd centuries. Today the region is occupied by numerous constituent states of Anisora, most of which were amongst the original constituent states to make up the Anisoran Empire upon unification in 7367.
The region is known for its geographical features such as its renowned beaches and coastal beauty as well as its rolling hills and countryside. The region is also the historic home of a great number of states, large and small, and has been one of the principal centres for the establishment and dissemination of 'Anisoran' culture. For most of the last two millennia the region has been divided and fractured, supporting hundreds of small states throughout its history. In 7364, however, the Tova region was unified by the Confederation of Vetriano in 7364, under the leadership and hegemony of Marius I of the Dual Kingdom of Casella and Pastana. The Confederation brought the numerous independent and semi-independent states of Tova under the direct control of a single Anisoran monarch for the first time in history and paved the way three years later for the region to be formally absorbed into the newly established Anisoran Empire in 7367. Since that time the Tovan states have retained their historic independent identity as individual constituent states, each retaining their own head of state, with varying degrees of political autonomy.
