Herrkullabanan is a light rail connection in the state of Kulla, Vittmark; connecting the state capital Kronsta with the mountain resort of Herrkulla. The line was opened in 7625 as a way to provide easier access to the entire mountain valley and especially the town of Herrkulla with its royal mansion as pilgrimage destination. The electrified line has a single track with passing stations in the same 1229 mm gauge that the connecting network in Kronsta has. The railway line is the only reliable connection between the villages and mountains in this high valley and was built as an alternative to a much more vulnerable road connection that only could be used by busses.

The line has 10 stations at about a 10 km interval. This localisation was important to provide most of the valley with access to the railway stations within a one hour walking distance.
