Aquilius Laboratories

Aquilius Laboratories is an independent branch of the government of Auresia, specifically the Imperial Curia of the Auresian Empire. It serves as the central think tank of the nation, responsible for managing all state-funded and overseen research and development (R&D) work. The primary facility of operations is the Mount Olivia Research & Development Centre, along with three other research complexes throughout the empire. The organization represents the competitive and driven nature of the empire's advanced scientific community and is headquartered in Cedelphia at the Aquilius Annex.

History: Aquilius was established by unifying three previous state organizations responsible for the study and development of the sciences. In 7500, by the order of Dynast Emperor Willem II, these three agencies were combined under the name Aquilius in honor of Frederico Aquilius, who had served as Master Engineer to Dynast Father Cephorus I Cephorus Maximus. Well-funded and heavily-secured, Aquilius has been behind numerous scientific endeavors over the years. It is a competitive state service, and young specialists seeking a career in science and engineering often aspire to work in Aquilius.

Structure:

Directorate: The senior and skilled scientists in Aquilius form the Directorate, guiding and overseeing the agency's projects. The Directorate consists of eight members, with two from each of the central departments. Departments: Aquilius is divided into four departments: Advanced Systems, Bioscience, Engineering, and Medscience. Research Directors: A few fortunate Aquilius members can form their own research directorate within the organization, overseeing projects. Project Managers: Each project is assigned a project manager responsible for overseeing the development and research. Associates: The bulk of Aquilius personnel, entry-level members working within the labs and workshops. Facilities:
