The Imperial Order, known as the Ordine Imperiale in Auresian and the Ordo Imperiosus in Pastanan, is a selective body of membership within the Auresian government, specifically the Imperial Curia.

History

The order was founded by Dynast Father Cephorus I shortly after becoming emperor in 5093. It was established based on meritocratic principles and traditions drawn from his years as a Janessari warrior. The standards set by him include personal, moral, and professional discipline, distinguished performance in military and civil duty, and unwavering loyalty and reliability in executing the responsibilities of their post.

Purpose

The Imperial Order serves as an internal hierarchical structure that regulates the members of the Curia according to specific standards of personal, professional, and moral performance and discipline. To advance to higher-level positions within the Curia, one must be an accepted member of the Order and be recognized as a peer by colleagues within the system. The Order ensures the maintenance of merit, performance, and accomplishment standards.

Membership

Membership is by invitation only and is extended to individuals who have completed a respectable service term in the Auresian Imperial Armed Forces and received an honorable discharge. Climbing the hierarchy within the Order is the personal responsibility of each individual, driven by their own determination and the pleasure of the Dynast Emperor and his lords in rewarding their performance.

Structure

  • Dynast Sovereign: The supreme leader of the empire.
  • Master of the Order: Chosen by the Dynast Sovereign, this person serves as the voice and guiding hand to the Order. They arbitrate the law of the Order to its members and handle Order affairs.
  • Lord Paramount: The highest level of the state hierarchy, individuals who reach this rank have the combined recognition of their military, civil service, and the Dynast Sovereign.
  • Lord/Lady: Leaders elevated within the hierarchy, comprising ministers and directors of Curia branches.
  • Overseer: Instructors of the Imperial Academy, responsible for passing on traditions and teachings.
  • Officer: Trainees who have completed their trials and are understudies to Lords or Ladies.
  • Trainee: Newly-inducted members of the Order who have not yet completed their trials at the Imperial Academy.

The Imperial Order represents a hierarchical structure that upholds high standards of performance, discipline, and accomplishment within the Auresian government.
