Central Beliefs and Cosmology
Izha
Izha is the supreme god of creation, shapeless and infinite, but nevertheless, its power is represented as an all-seeing eye with a wise gaze resplendent with light. Izha created the universe by shaping the celestial and earthly sphered with increasing complexity and divinity, culminating in the creation of life and man.
Izha is everywhere and nowhere; his gaze falls upon everything, and nothing is hidden from Izha. The benevolence of Izha has given man free will to exercise their destiny and find their path to the light of Izha or fall into the black abyss of the void at the centre of Izha's gaze.
Skophedan
Izha is all-powerful but chose to create the Skophedan, a race of ethereal beings tasked with roaming creation and influencing man and the nature of creation, and they are Izha's way of asserting his will upon creation and men with free will. The Skophedanhave their own will but tied to that of Izha's great purpose for creation, a mystery yet to be revealed or discovered by man.
The Skophedan are seemingly physical yet spiritual beings that appear and disappear at will, impervious to all but Izha. They are humanoid beings whose bodies are entirely made of hands that contort and entwine to form their bodies, the hands that shape creation. They possess many elegant wings radiating from their body embedded with dozens of all-watching eyes that see into the very souls of men, creatures and all solids. They have no moths but speak, they have no ears but ear all and every thought.
Their every step scorches all they touch, yet their hands can heal and inspire those they touch.
