Bengtist Stift is a religious order, cultural entity, and non-territorial member state of Vittmark. Unlike other Orkanan clergy, the Bengtists are affiliated with the Mennity Orkanan Mennity of Vanlövsa, making it a non-interventionist cult of Orkanan. The Stift is named after its founder, Exemplar Bengt Olofsson.
The Bengtists are primarily known as the caretakers of the wild migrating trunkbulls in the mountains and high-altitude plains of northern Stoldavia. There are about 3,000 followers registered among 13 herds. The Bengtists practice a nomadic lifestyle, safeguarding the living environment of the wild trunkbulls. They also provide practical services using domesticated animals as well as spiritual guidance. Despite belonging to a different branch of Orkanan, the stationary Mellanhand population tends to welcome the Bengtists.
The Bengtists have their headquarters at the mountain recluse Vinsebo in Gäddedevida, Inälvsdalen Hundred, Sörmark, as well as a permanent representation in Östvallen. Both locations are considered capitals for the non-territorial member state.
