Reign and Legacy
Michael I, born in the Anisoran Empire, became the Domnitor (King) of Becuvitatia after the death of his uncle, Ioan I, in 7426, sparking the War of the Becuvitatian Succession. His accession was contested by his cousin, Prince Teodor, leading to five years of conflict across Anaria. The war concluded with the Treaty of Gaaze in 7431, which solidified Michael's rule. Despite his long reign, Michael I is often viewed as presiding over the decline of Becuvitatia’s international influence, with internal unrest marking the latter half of his rule.
