Teodoro A. Humilio

Teodoro Constanzo Lord Humilio, 23rd Duke of Parma - born 4-1-7537, died 2-19-7627 (aged 89) - was a Great Officer of State of Auresia and served as Lord Privy Seal to Dynast Emperor Cephorus IV. In this role, he acted as the personal right-hand man of the monarch. Alongside the Lord President of the Council, Hieronymus Lord Barsavi, he was considered one of the most influential figures in the Empire during the reign of Cephorus IV.

Early Life

Lord Humilio was born into a family with a longstanding political-military tradition, who held one of the oldest non-Imperial ducal titles in the nation. Raised at the sprawling Parma estate, he received a comprehensive education, covering various subjects, including engineering, sciences, mechanics, energy, and blade-fighting. From childhood, he was a close friend and contemporary of the future emperor.

Military Career

After completion of his first years at the University of Gaaze, Teodoro armed forces and underwent advanced military education, including officer training and specialised courses. He spent eleven years on active duty, ultimately rising to the rank of colonel. He played a significant role in the Returner War, leading troops in several battles and ultimately spending the last six months of the conflict as a POW. Following his release, he returned to active duty, stepping down in late 7636.

Later career

After his military service, Teodoro remained close to Cephorus, eventually becoming his Lord Privy Seal upon his ascension to the Golden Lion Throne. In this capacity, he was a close adviser of the emperor and responsible for the Privy Seal, used by the monarch to grant Imperial Assent to bills and important documents. He became well-known as a stoic voice in state affairs. He served in this capacity until formally retiring from all official duties in 7606 after nearly forty years.

Private life

Teodoro was married to Kadolan Humilio (née Cartsisio, b. 7537 d. 7622) from 5-15-7556 until her death on 7-3-7622. They had three sons and two daughters together. He received numerous awards and decorations for his achievements in both civilian and military domains. He was a part of the Janessari elite known as the Death Watch.

• He stood 190.5 centimetres (6 feet, 3 inches) tall.
• His hobbies included hunting, horseback riding, and oil painting.
• As a member of the Death Watch, he was Ayar'sa'han ("Trusted Blade") of the Emperor.
• He is the only Lord Paramount in Auresian history to have been a prisoner of war.
