Satou Kotomi (spelled さとう ことみ in Bahasa Sokoku) is a Sokokan politician, currently serving as member of the federal parliament for the Kakuri Community in Kyusigai, Sokoku. She was appointed as a member of the Health Committee and serves in the 12th Group in parliament. Beside her role as politician, Satou Kotomi has a history as soul keeper in the Tanoshi congregation of the Guso religion.
Early life
Satou Kotomi was born in Toshi-bu as the third child of Suzuki Cho and Satou Daigo in the summer of 7654, and thus belonging to the Daikon Blade of Nichibotsu. She went by her given name Satou Haniko until age 13. As a resident of Toshi-bu, she got a strict Kakuri upbringing, rather isolated from the rest of Sokokan society. Even within Kakuri society, her early life was largely seperated from her family and blade. She was identified as a Guso soulkeeper at age 13, resulting in an education separated from her blade at the Toshi-bu kotan.
Soul keeper education
She changed her name to Satou Arisu, indicating the new start as an active soul keeper, at age 18. She entered the new A Kaiten congregation soul keeper group Aki Arin and started performing in Toshi-bu, Nushudarawa and Carls by. The group had 4 soul keepers at first (7672) then extended to 6 (7674) before moving to Berewan on Shuuen in 7676 with two other soul keepers and two new non-soul keeper members. In Berewan she entered university studying public health issues.
In 7679 she married Sareta Kenji, ending her career as active soul keeper. She become mother in 7680, the same year she started a masters education at the same university. Upon graduation in 7683 she moved back to Mirei. Her master's thesis took up the issue of children's circumstances in current urban planning issues. She took up a job at Mirei state as a spatial planning consultant, while her husband became state MP for health issues. In order to mark her service for the local community instead of the A Kaiten congregation, she changed her name to Satou Kotomi.
